Moving to Topanga?

Considering moving to Topanga?  It is not for everybody, but it might be right for you.

Largely because of our uniquely rugged topography, Topanga is a place that may seem on the surface, to lack a sense of cohesiveness.  To someone just driving through, it may seem that there’s no “there” there.   Oh sure, there is the post office, the grocery store, and Pine Tree Circle, all of which form the heart of the “town” of Topanga.  But the real Topanga is much more than that – for most people in this bucolic community live in houses built up the curvy narrow lanes that meander their way up from the main traffic arteries.  As a result, there is a certain amount of privacy by default — many people are unfamiliar with all of Topanga even after having lived here for decades.  This sense of privacy has made Topanga a haven for many who choose a quieter way to live, from celebrities to those who are simply looking to reconnect with Mother Nature.
