Fernwood
Fernwood is one of Topanga’s most populous neighborhoods, risking up Fernwood Pacific (by Fire Station 69) all the way to the top of the mountains, where Tuna Canyon branches off to the side.
Fernwood contains a lot of classic homes, mixed in with some newer construction. While the population density may be too much for some, Fernwood is widely considered to have the best climate in Topanga as a result of the cooling effect of the ocean air. Often, Fernwood will remain much cooler in the summer months than sections of the Canyon that are closer to the San Fernando Valley.
